Maria and Futurescouts
I’ve been immersed in technology my entire life. I coded my first chatbot at the age of twelve, earned an MSc in Business Administration & Computer Science (Cand.merc. DAT) from Copenhagen Business School, and spent 18 years at TDC—growing from web developer to Head of Development. From 2016 untill 2023 I was the IT Director for the Danish Insurance Academy.

Along the way I produced podcasts and videos on Artificial Intelligence, took advanced courses at DTU to deepen my expertise, and never lost my child-like curiosity for “what’s next.”
In March 2023 I founded the company Futurescouts to teach the new wave of AI tools and ignite vital conversations about building a brighter future with technology. Today I travel to companies and professional networks, running hands-on workshops that always spark lively dialogue on turning innovation into impact.
Futurescouts is also a vibrant community—about 350 members in the free tier and 50 in the Premium tier—who enjoy live webinars on Midjourney, ChatGPT, 30 day Challenges, plus on-demand courses that keep them ahead of the curve.
From teenage chatbot tinkerer to AI educator and futurist, my mission is simple: help people move from busy to thriving by weaving tomorrow’s tech into today’s life.
